Service Description

Hours: 2 hours online; in-person hours without breaks: 6 students-6 hours 7 students–6.5 hours 8 students–7 hours 9 students–7.5 hours 10 students–8 hours Class Size: Minimum 6, Maximum 10 (if you have fewer than 6 students, you must replace the remaining spots with FA/CPR/AED certified individuals to act as students for the practice teaching portions of the class.) Must have a current basic-level Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification. All students must have a print or digital version of: First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor’s Manual First Aid/CPR/AED Participant’s Manual First Aid/CPR/AED Course Presentations (either through Course Presenter or PowerPoint) First Aid/CPR/AED videos (download from Instructor’s Corner, use Course Presenter, or purchase DVD) Facility Requirements: Classroom with floor space, screen or blank wall for projecting videos and slides

Cancelation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are dealt with on a individual basis by emailing hellersafetysolutions@gmail.com. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice receive no refund, but they may reschedule for a future class offered by Heller Safety Solutions. Cancellations with 3-7 days notice may receive a 50% refund, or they may reschedule for a future class offered by Heller Safety Solutions. Cancellations with more than 8 days notice may receive a full refund, or they may reschedule for a future class. For rescheduling, note that not all classes are offered on a regular basis. Refunds are not available for those who do not complete the online portion of blended learning classes prior to class. Online module technical issues must be addressed directly to the Red Cross by calling 1-800-red-cros and asking to speak to Support. (I am not an IT professional–I cannot help you with any tech issues.) Do not wait until the last minute to complete your online module, in case you have problems with it. Refunds are not available for “no shows.” You must contact Heller Safety Solutions via email prior to the start of class. Students who arrive more than five minutes tardy for class will need to reschedule. Heller Safety Solutions may cancel or reschedule classes at any time due to: Facility conflicts Weather Family emergencies Vehicle emergencies Instructor illness Low number of registrations for the class In these cases, as much notice as possible will be given to class participants via email and Heller Safety Solutions will work with students to reschedule for a future class offered by Heller Safety Solutions.
